Program Director / Morning Show Host
Saga Communications of Asheville, North Carolina seeks a Program Director to oversee, direct, and assume full responsibility of Adult Contemporary Mix 96.5 (WOXL-FM) and AAA 98-1 the RIVER (WOXL-HD2) programming/promotions/interactive The candidate will also host the morning show on WOXL-FM. The Program Director will perform their duties in conformance with FCC rules and regulations, company policy and applicable federal, state and local laws. Position located in Asheville, North Carolina and reports to the Operations Manager.
Candidate Competencies:
· Minimum of five consecutive year’s successful radio programming experience in the mainstream AC format, including 5-years of on-air experience. AAA experience is helpful. College degree preferred but not required.
· Ability to produce and host an entertaining and compelling AC morning show.
· Considerable knowledge of FCC rules, excellent time management and leadership skills and Ability to be flexible and work under short deadlines.
· Extensive computer skills including, but not limited to, working knowledge of radio automation systems (OMT iMedia Touch), Music Master, Adobe Audition, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic web page editing, mobile (text) marketing and social Media like Facebook and Twitter.

Candidate must be 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and will also be working with a web administrative tool.
